RECEIVING STIMULUS PAYMENTS FASTER1 WITH ECHOPAY
Many EchoPay customers will be receiving economic relief under the Cares Act. Your stimulus payment could come in two different forms: a direct deposit to an account and routing number (like the one your EchoPay provides), or a paper check.
EchoPay allows you to receive your payments faster than waiting for a check. We provide you with your routing and account number so you can receive your stimulus payment directly to your EchoPay account.
HOW CAN I RECEIVE MY STIMULUS PAYMENT TO MY ECHOPAY CARD?
To make things simple for you and to get your payments to you faster than a check, the IRS has two websites where you can enter your EchoPay account and routing numbers in order to receive a direct deposit:
For tax filers: The IRS’ “Get My Payment” allows people who didn’t include direct-deposit info on previous returns to enter their EchoPay account and routing numbers and get paid electronically—rather than waiting weeks a check. Click here
For non tax filers: The IRS has a website available for Americans who normally don’t file taxes register for a government stimulus payment. If you are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident who made less than $12,200 (or $24,400 as a married couple), or otherwise weren’t required to file a federal income tax return in 2019, you can apply for the stimulus payment by submitting your EchoPay account and routing numbers to the IRS here. HOW TO VIEW YOUR ROUTING AND ACCOUNT NUMBER?
Login to your EchoPay mobile or web app
Click Add Money > Direct Deposit
Your routing and account number will be shown
CAN I DEPOSIT MY GOVERNMENT CHECK TO MY ECHOPAY ACCOUNT?
Yes. You can do this by downloading the Ingo Money mobile app and entering your EchoPay routing and account number. Follow the instructions in the app.
